Hook: statistic about the percentage of kids from Kenwood High that will actually attend college b. thesis: Considering the current economy, high schools should give equal attention to preparing students for college and introducing students to possible trade careers because not all students will thrive in a college setting, there are many high paying trade careers and more students might stay in school if education seemed more relevant to their future.
