  20. Case Study 1 Chermside Construction Site [Installed December 2011] The client contacted NSR Security looking for a security guard for their site after vandals had gained entry and caused thousands of dollars worth of damage. The multi-storey building was about halfway completed and the client was worried that these vandals would return over the Christmas- New Year Break. After reviewing the costs involved with having a security guard stationed on site, the client decided to opt for an NSR Videofied Rental Package instead. Within weeks of having the system installed, NSR was able to confirm 3 x arrests on two separate occasions. On one occasion 2 male youths were caught on footage and arrested after the Monitoring Centre dispatched police. On the second occasion a male intruder was caught on site and also arrested.

Case Study 2 Lismore Construction Site [Installed January 2012] After having success with the Videofied System at a previous site, the client requested that NSR install a system at their new site in Lismore. The construction company was in the process of building a new Woolworths Store. The client had previous problems with a group of youths breaking into the site office, damaging vehicles and equipment, and leaving graffiti tags. The system was installed the day before Australia Day. The day after the system was installed 3 x youths were caught on site and charged with unlawful entry. The day after that, another youth was seen on footage walking through the construction site.
