Site Ranking • Ranking: • TJC provides a broad area of study for incoming interns. The small sizes allows for students to become quickly acquainted with their surroundings and duties. Tyler is an Aggie Friendly environment with people that really make this internship enjoyable. I will never forget my time here as an Apache.

Internship Objectives • GENERAL OBJECTIVE - To become familiar with the day-to-day operations, both internal and external, within an intercollegiate athletic department. To initiate ideas and programs that will not only lead to this understanding but to also further enhance the athletic department. • SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE- To increase community and student involvement by hosting the “K’s for Cancer” event at the Ballpark while providing TJC a chance to show good P.R.
Summary of Daily Activites • Get to work 8am • Check Messages on Phone/Answer Phones • Sort Mail between Athletic Sports • File Paper Work/Make Copies • Prepare for events during the day if any. (Baseball, Basketball, or UIL) • Run Errands • Set Up For Event • Work Event (Public Address, or Ticketing ) • Tear Down Event
Project Description – K’s for Cancer • Tyler Junior College, in association with The American Cancer Society, would like to present to you the “K’s for Cancer” event. We are offering you a chance to donate a sum of money for each strike out recorded by the Tyler Junior College Apaches during the March 31st (Games 1 & 2) and Friday April 2nd (Games 3 & 4) double headers. • Players wore purple socks, ribbons, and tape on their wrists. • Raised over 1300 dollars for the local American Cancer Society
