  3. Copy the list of words below in French and English. Use the picture to work out the meanings.

  4. Write out the conversation below replacing the pictures with the correct words. Don’t forget to use “de” or “d’”. Then write it in English. Je voudrais = I would like C’est tout? = Is that all? Avez-vous? = Do you have? Et avec ça = And with that? C’est tout = That’s all

  5. Writing Invent your own conversation at the grocer and write it in French. Use vocabulary that you have learned already, but also try to include words that you have found yourself from a dictionary. Add the following phrases to your conversation to include a price as well… C’estcombien? = How much is it? Ça fait combien? = How much is it? Ça fait ……… Euros = That comes to ………. Euros. Writing a conversation with at least 4 exchanges = level 4

  6. Extension Work with a partner to practice your conversation. Can you have the conversation without looking at the phrases? Could you record your conversation and make a presentation in cartoon storymaker? Speaking from memory, 4 exchanges = level 4
