Disrupts the gag reflex triggered in the throat. which enables vomit to enter and clogs the airways. This leads to choking and potential death. • What should Jordan’s friends have done? Not have laid him on his back – put him in recovery position, kept him awake and stayed with him. Phone 999 or find a responsible adult to help. • Why does your body have a hangover after alcohol consumption? Alcohol is a diuretic which leads dehydration as sweat and wee more. Makes the body thirsty and weak. Increases heart rate. Headache due to blood vessels opening to the brain and increasing pressure • How did Jordon feel about his experience? Humiliated.
