PTR 2 Should all children be vaccinated? • Problem: • Thesis: • Reasons: • Result: The reason this is an important question is that there are some children catching and spreading preventable illnesses because they have not been vaccinated. I think that children should be vaccinated because there are great public health risks to unvaccinated children. All of the childhood illnesses that have vaccines are highly contagious. Some of these illnesses are fatal. Critics of vaccinations may say that the vaccination itself may be dangerous , but the scientific evidence of that is inconclusive. (reference). Others may cite personal freedom , or religious beliefs … Although vaccinating children may seem to be an issue important only to parents, we all have a stake in public health. The answer to this question is important to all of us. I believe that children should be vaccinated because vaccines provide protection to young children and society in general….
