  5. Emergency • The larger red button at the top of the screen. • When the user clicks on the button the local authorities will be alerted. • Video and voice recording will be activated. (Beigi, 2011)

  6. Feel Unsafe: bSafe • SOS • Help is one tap away. • Video, Voice, GPS & Siren • Collects Evidence (“bSafe”, 2013)

  7. Feel Unsafe: StreetSafe • Walk with confidence, not in fear (Sliding the Green Button) • Connects to safety advisor • More than a call for help (Sliding the Red Button) • GPS location will be activated • 911 will be contacted (“StreetSafe”, n.d.)

  8. Feel Unsafe Unsafe! • Yellow button • Non-emergency when first opened • Hold Red Button! • If you feel safe: slide the screen and say “safe word” or enter pin • If it is an emergency: release the screen

  9. Maps Maps Maps • Purple button • Helps user locate local authorities in the area. • User can view unsafe areas marked by previous users.

  10. Procedures Procedures • Green button • Emergency responders notified • Tips incase immediate attention is required • Examples: CPR, Heimlich maneuver, how to help someone who is having a seizure.
