  2. Thesis Statement • A community has negative affects after a school shooting.

  3. 1st Body Paragraph • School shootings have terrible affects on a community because it leaves deep trauma and requires long-term healing. This type of trauma can shatter your sense of security. This is hard to recover from. Most people with this type of trauma are in need of counseling.

  4. 2nd Body Paragraph • A lot more school shootings happen than what people think happen. From 1996 to 2010 around 64 school shootings have happened. School shootings are unexpected. These types of shootings most of the time are bully related. Bullying happens everywhere and everyday.

  5. 3rd Body Paragraph • Why does it happen? BULLYING. Bullying is the number one reason for shootings in schools. The bullies take their at home harm life and take it out on others in harmful ways. Schools can prevent bullying by being more involved in your student or child’s personal life.
