Most likely it is a lymphadenopathy cystic hygroma ( I am not sure) Cystic hygroma in neck is commonly found at the base of the neck in the posterior triangle And it’s not hot, red, or tender with a normal overlying skin… Alyaa

Lump in the Sub-mandibular region • Oval shaped mass • In the sub-mandibular region • Measures 4x5 cm • Skin over the mass is free ( discoloration discharge …) DDX? 2 main origins: LNs, Salivary glands • lymphadenopathy • Abscess from teeth origin • Salivary gland tumors • Mumps • sialadenitis
Station 5 1)What's the diagnosis? • Lid retraction most likely due to Grave’s disease 2)Mention 4 sign of Thyrotoxicosis in the eye?
*Examination of the eyes in thyro-toxic patient ? ( important) • Lid retraction • Lid lag • Exophthalmos • Chemosis • Loss of hair in the outer third of the eyebrows ( hypo thyriod) • Diplopia • Peri-orbital puffiness • These are the important things to be mentioned in the eye examination
