EPF - Strengthen the members More consultation and feedback on the policy issues • Use more examples from countries: disease areas to make the policy case – helps members to argue at national level • Info on upcoming policy consultation tracking system on the website so that members can prepare to be involved: FLEXIBILITY • Guidance on EU funding opportunities : big administration Specific meetings on funding/helpdesk • Transfer of policy experience/ good practice when an issue rises at national level – chat room
EPF- Strengthen the members Reguar policy updates from national coalitiion latest developments concerns Specific presentaion from countries at EPF meeting - practical examples Practical insight to support the theoretical input ‘ patient experts’ Resource for future planning, mapping similar needs from several orgs More direct member to member links - inspiring EPF events Improve leadership skils, media comms skills Link persons technical issues/ clusters of people /theme
EPF - 2020 Data and force to put forward our views – proactive • EPF is the driver, not backseat passenger • EPF – well known within the patients’ movement, with politicians at country level • NATURAL AND AUTOMATIC POINT OF REFERENCE • Effective pool of expertise for all the members • Reinforce patient organisations in next progamming period
