A free Android App without need of internet for base maps, if your Android mobile have around 300 MB free space/memory. • Your Mobile should have GPS • Only Assisted GPS (A-GPS) will not give desired accuracy • Initial Cost for GPS enabled mobiles is Rs. 5000-7000/- • Check specifications for your mobile on mobile pack or on internet or go in Location settings to see if any GPS word is there to activate • A miracle for Rural Development sector of India

  3. Installation of OsmAnd • Two ways Go to Play Store, search for OsmAnd free, and install or take OsmAnd.apk from other phone/source/drive in your mobile and install by double click this

  4. An icon like this will be visible on phone screen

  5. Let us see some mobile screen shots for basic understanding

  6. Kindly activate GPS from Location Settings

  7. Settings menu icon Main Menu icon My Location

  8. We need India asia OSM offline base maps of about 290MB, for Navigation and view purpose only. May be copied and pasted from drive and other phones through Bluetooth or any data transfer utility

  9. Once Press this icon to enable it

  10. Trip Recording Settings

  11. After activation Plugin icon will be Orange colored in Plugin List

  12. Press for configure map and configure screen

  13. Press once to start GPX track reording

  14. Press once more to stop GPX track reording

  15. Tracks are saved with date Thanks
