Por ejemplo… • ¿Cómo ha sido tu año escolar? ¿Cuáles clases tenías? ¿Cómo eran las clases? ¿Cuál era tu favorita y por qué? ¿Cuáles clases tomarás en el año que viene? • ¿Cómo eres tú? ¿Eres sociable, reservado, atlético, etc.? ¿Qué te gusta hacer en tu tiempo libre? ¿Cómo es tu familia? ¿Tienes hermanos? ¿Primos? ¿mascotas, etc.? ¿Quiénes son tus mejores amigos? ¿Por qué son tus buenos amigos? ¿Cómo son tus amigos y por qué los quieres? • ¿Qué quieres hacer en el futuro después de colegio? ¿Qué tipo de trabajo te gustaría tener? ¿Qué te gustaría estudiar en la universidad? ¿Adónde te gustaría ir para la universidad?

  5. El Café Goal: speak Spanish 100% of the time. Everything else is secondary. • Groups of 5-6 (6 max), Tues & Weds, next week (if you are absent for more than ½ you will need to make a presentation to the class upon your return) Steps: • Choose a theme (from a country, pirates, art, Christmas, tropical,etc.) • What food will you bring? (OJO: the food is not the activity!) • Make a menu for the other group – every student must hand in a menu. • Decide on decorations for el café • Actividad • Can be whatever but has to be 100% in Spanish (all members of your group must take an active part in facilitating the activity) • If you are going to need vocab for the activity – you have to provide it • Ex: games – slap, matamoscas, quiz show, jeopardy, karaoke, song activity, dance lesson, date night / speed dating, debate, storytelling, controversial questions, icebreaker games, camp or theater games, find someone who, etc.

  6. Tarea • Each person in your group is responsible for researching / finding an actividad or juego. (Google “language games”, “vocab games”, “icebreakers”, “communicative games”, “foreign language games”, etc.) Bring it written up for tomorrow to share with your group. Your group should have 5-6 games to choose between at the start of class tomorrow. • Again – remember that you should be looking for games / activities that are speaking activities for not only you but for the whole class.
