GIS (Geographical Information Systems) • Jane Marie Wix did a flash flood hotspot project with GIS and uploaded onto AWIPS and the Intranet for use by the forecasters. • Working on tornado track database, plotting tornado data from 1800s to current.

Student Projects • Entering in 100s of spotters into spotter database and then adding lat and long information for all spotters • Revamping EF Field Guide Kit with pictures from our CWA. • Answering phones and calling county contacts in severe weather events, as well as issuing Storm Reports. • Evan Webb worked on a heavy snow climatology study with SOO and forecaster • Design and manage the NWS booth at the KY State Fair • All took part in Office Beautification Day
