Evaluation Results • Over 300 participants since November 2011 • 57 returned online and end-of-meeting evaluations • Improved awareness of how cash, future and option markets work • Increased knowledge about marketing tools • Learned new marketing skills by trading futures and options without real financial loss.

  15. Lessons Learned • Self-directed learners benefitted the most • Multiple ways to learn: totally online, Workbook, webcast recordings, small groups • Computers on site at first class to assist with secure log-ins • Weekly instructor e-mails to provide participant encouragement and answer questions • Fits well over 15 weeks (semester course) or mid-November to March (Ag Marketing Clubs)
