Stellar Motion What Direction (NSEW) are we facing and where on Earth are we? (Equator, Pole, Middle Latitudes)
Stellar Motion Monica goes outside in the early evening and and sees these stars from Rogers AR. What constellation is it? What will it look like in 8 hours?
Stellar Motion The constellation moves about 15⁰ per hour. 8 hours * 15⁰ per hour = 135⁰ The constellation is above the western horizon. Why did it “flip”?
Stellar Motion You see the Big Dipper (Ursa Major) in the northwest. You are in Rogers. In one hour, will it be higher or lower in the sky? Will it set?
