Preface This guide is to facilitate those who have a) never disclosed an invention nor sought to patent their IP b) disclosed an invention(s) and have initiated discussion with UIRF and c) received patents and continue to develop new IP and inventions. The approach is organized as a series of questions (FAQs) that have been assembled from queries and discussions with faculty, staff and students at the university.
