  2. Peer Coaching WHAT IS IT? A coach and a peer collaborating to increase an understanding of best practices in lesson design, assessment and technology integration WHAT WILL I LEARN? Identify ways to enrich standards-based instruction with engaging learning activities Develop knowledge, tools, and support strategies to enhance student learning with technology

Peer Coaching As a participant, you will receive guidance on how to: Begin using authentic learning tasks that have real audiences Use teaching and learning strategies that require students to take more responsibility for their learning and frequently use technology as a tool for learning Involve students in long-term, active learning projects that use technology as a tool Begin to create new ways to assess student work

  4. Peer Coaching As your coach, I will: Help you determine an area of your curriculum for technology integration Demonstrate lessons that integrate technology Discuss with the participating teacher on what worked, what didn’t, and how a lesson or activity might be modified in the future to be more effective Provide instruction on project-based learning strategies Assist with developing authentic assessments
