There are some extremely sharp players academically who are known well for their game of baseball. The first in the list of the smartest baseball players is Pirates’ pitcher- Ross Ohlendorf. There is another overachiever, well-known to us by the name of Chris Carter from Braves. Chris was a pre-med at one of the most respected Ivy Leagues- Stanford. Kevin Slowey, a pitcher for the Minnesota Twins is known to have scored 1420 on his SATs, which are enough to get into Harvard or even Yale! He did not attend an Ivy League university but still was known to be one of the smartest baseball players! Devonte Schuller is an American basketball player who comes from Columbia, South Carolina. He plays as the point guard for the Ole Miss Rebels basketball team. He is enrolled at Oak Hill As a recruit, Devonte Schuller was ranked by 131st nationally, 24th as a shooting guard and as the 8th best basketball prospect in SC for the class of 2017.
Devonte Schullerreceived offers from Miami, USC, Wofford, Wake Forest and many more. He visited Ole Miss, Oklahoma State and South Carolina but eventually signed to Ole Miss. He is a four starrer recruit who initially used to play AAU basketball with Memphis Grizzlies’ Ja Morant and NBA’s Zion Williamson.
