  1. This is Me! Chris Florez EdTech 575 Fall 2007

  2. Who am I? • When I’m not on the golf course, I am a Computer Support Analyst for the Center on Reinventing Public Education (CRPE) based out of the University of Washington.

  3. Who am I? • My personal and professional experiences include multimedia design, database development and education. • I completed my K-8 teaching certification in June 2007, and I have been working in the technology arena for the past 10 years.

  4. Who am I? • My hobbies include: Writing & Reading Watching Documentaries Golf Playing Guitar Painting Running

  5. Who am I? • My Greatest Accomplishment: Upon discovering that I would be placed on insulin shortly after turning 29, I began training for a marathon. Having run no longer than a distance of 3 miles, this was quite a challenge and commitment for me. In 2003, I completed the Kona Marathon for the American Diabetes Foundation, raising over $5,000 and meeting some of the most inspiring folks on the planet.

  6. EdTech • Why I am in this program: I have always been passionate about technology and education. During the course of my professional and personal experiences, I have been fortunate enough to be a part of the implementation and integration of technology in education from the policy level to the classroom. I am working toward gaining the skills and expertise that will allow me to continue this work, advancing the use of technology as a transformative instructional and assessment tool for K-12 students.
