  2. Monday, May 4th Warm-up How fair are you when it comes to cutting down words to make new ones? Start with the word growing and delete one letter at a time so that what is left is still a word. The pattern looks like this: growing, rowing, owing, wing, win, in, i. Here are five other words to make new words from. • Drain • Sprint • Chaste • Shred • Feast

  3. Tuesday, May 5th Warm-up If you could be anyone for a day, who would you be? Why? What would you do as that person?

  4. Wednesday, May 6th Warm-up What impact do you want to leave on the world? (Meaning: When you die, how do you hope to have changed the world? What influence do you want to have on the world/people around you? What is the POINT of your existence?)

  5. Thursday, May 7th Warm-up Six words that are synonyms for the word proud are found in this word grid. The letters of each word must be in a box adjacent to each other. All 36 letters will be used, but no box will be used twice. The word vain has already been found for you. Find the other five words, and write them down.
