This session focuses on the implementation of tractor codes by national designated authorities to ensure international trade procedures are simplified, quality standards are upheld, and transparency is enhanced. The objective is to promote globalisation with common rules, with a special emphasis on Southern countries.

OBJECTIVES - simplify existing international trade procedures - establish specifications and basic performance criteria - ensure an acceptable level of quality for trade - enhance transparency
in order to providebetter LABOUR ENVIRONMENT FOOD PRODUCTION SAFETY = GLOBALISATION WITH COMMON RULES
PROGRAM Increase the number of countries participating with special attention to Southern countries
PROGRAM Promote agreements with other International Organisations: UNIDO,UNESCAP, FAO,UE Commission, Manufacturers and Farmers Organisations in order to activate important synergies with the activities carried out
PROGRAM Improvement of the codes and new codes for other machinery Codes need improvement to follow the new technologies as well as the new safety requirements and can be adopted with the proper changes to other agricultural machinery
All this in a frame of transparency and agreement among all involved parties (governments, industry and farmers) and the improvement of LABOUR ENVIRONMENT FOOD PRODUCTION . SAFETY
