  2. Design Statement – Business Office under 5,000 s.f. This 4,950 s.f. boutique office for a financial advisory firm is located on the Waterfront in Scottsdale in a new shell building. The client desired an upscale appearance yet had a limited budget of $45.00/sf. The project included full design including furnishings and custom millwork. Scope of services included programming through construction administration The Client’s requirement would not fit in the existing building they wanted to occupy. To maximize the floor space under roof, the glass line was extended 10’ below an exterior overhang, thus adding an additional corner office to the floor plate. Leather wrapped panel walls flank floating benches at the entryway. The custom millwork reception desk of quarter sawn cherry and onyx is anchored by a backdrop of split face limestone.
