  10. Religious Conflict • Exists in places where two religions are in close proximity. • Fundamentalism • A strict adherence to rules/ principles of a religion. • Fundamentalism can lead to conflict between groups.

  11. Conflict in Ireland • Ireland is one island divided into two countries: Ireland and Northern Ireland (part of the U.K.) • Ireland is close to 90% Catholic. • Northern Ireland is 46% Protestant and 40% Roman Catholic
