Boot Sequence Make sure that the CD-Rom is first in the boot Sequence. If not use the + - to move it to first
Loading Asterisk Select Option 2 and hit Enter Which will install Asterisk 1.8 ONLY
Disk Partitions From the drop down Select Remove all partitions on Selected drives and create default layout
Disk Partitions Click YES to remove All Partitions
Time Zone Select Chicago from the Drop down which will put you in the central Time zone
Password Enter a password that will be remembered
Format The system is now formatting the disk
Install Asterisk The system is now Installing
Installation Complete Remove the CD from the drive and click reboot
Configure IP Address After the reboot the system will take you to the following menu If you don’t select an item you will go right to the Linux Prompt If you miss this screen, logon using user=root and the password Type setup and you will get to this screen
Configure IP Address Select Network Configuration Tab down and hit enter on Run Tool
Configure IP Address Select eth0 and hit enter
Configure IP Address Select Edit Devices and hit Enter
Configure IP Address Tab down to Use DHCP and hit the space bar to take the asterisk out and configure a Static IP
Configure IP Address Tab to - Enter Static IP Tab to - Enter Netmask Tab to - Enter Default Gateway IP and tab to OK and click enter
Configure DNS Using the arrow key select Edit DNS Configuration and hit enter
Configure DNS Enter the hostname Enter Primary DNS Usually the Paraclete App Server address is the DNS Server Click OK
Configure DNS Click Save & Quit
Reboot If not already logged on Enter User and Password and Log on. Type reboot at the command prompt
