IR Emitter HDL-M/IRAC.1
Introduction HDL-M/IRAC.1 supports 4 channel infrared interfaces, totally can store up to 650 IR codes. First part 150 IR codes are used for universal control, such as TV, DVD which has infrared receiving devices. The other 500 IR codes are used for AC control, compatible with any brand of AC device, the control modes are ON/OFF control, Temperature control, Cooling/Heating, Fan speed control, Swing control etc.
Function • Working mode: Single mode, Repeat mode, Sequence mode , Air-condition control , Current detection. • By using the HDL IR Learner to learn the IR codes from the normal remote, and download into IR Emitter by HDL KNX Assistant software, then it can control the IR device, such as TV, DVD, AC, Amplifier etc. • Built-in current sensor, to assure the status of device is ON or OFF.
Single mode Single mode is used to control the TV, DVD, etc, will send out one universal IR code when is triggered, e.g. turn on tv, increase the volume. Different universal code number has different capacity, e.g. UV code 1 space is 100 byte while the UV code 51 space is 200 byte. Need to assign the larger number for long code when learning code in the HDL KNX Assistant software.
Universal IR Code 1- Fill in the right address 2- Click 'Add' to enter the learn code interface 3- Click 'Input learn status' , the black LED will turn red.
Universal IR Code 5- Click 'Read', then it will display the learning code in the empty place 8- the added code will be shown here, download. 6- Select 'Universal' type, set the code number 4- Put the remote close to the IR learner and press the key you want the IR learner to learn. 7- Remark it and add it to the list
Universal IR Code Enable the single mode-IR code1 in IR emitter, select 'ON' reaction for switch function of one button, with the same group address, it will trigger the IR emitter to send out the OFF code when press the button.
AC Control Set the code number for different functions, e.g. AC OFF code is No.1, check the swing control is combined in normal AC codes or not, normally it's combined. if not, select 'Independence', it will display two codes, one for swing, the other for no swing.
AC IR Code Enable the AC control range, set IR No. for different AC state, normally just keep the default setting, e.g. No. 143 for 20C, cool mode, medium fan, no swing; No. 144 for 21C, cool mode, medium fan, no swing; No. 145 for 22C, cool mode, medium fan, no swing... when change the DLP AC state to cooling mode, medium fan, no swing and 20 degree setpoint, it will trigger the IR emitter to send out AC IR code 143.
AC IR Code in KNX Assistant software, set AC IR type when learning codes from AC remote and assign the correct No. for them which you have set in IR emitter, e.g. No. 143 for 20C, cool mode, medium fan, no swing; No. 144 for 21C, cool mode, medium fan, no swing...
AC Control Testing: in DLP AC page, when turn on and change the AC status to medium fan, no swing, cool mode, then start to change the setting temp from 20 degree to 30 degree, it will trigger the IR Emitter to send out these codes: No. 143, No.144, No.145, ..., No.153; when turn off, it will trigger the IR Emitter to send out No.1 code. no swing long press to change the swing control: swing/no swing
