2And he found a Jew named Aquila, a native of Pontus, recently come from Italy with his wife Priscilla, because Claudius had commanded all the Jews to leave Rome. And he went to see them,

7Who serves as a soldier at his own expense? Who plants a vineyard without eating any of its fruit? Or who tends a flock without getting some of the milk?

8Do I say these things on human authority? Does not the Law say the same? 8ข้าพเจ้ากล่าวอย่างนี้ตามวิสัยของมนุษย์หรือ ธรรมบัญญัติมิได้กล่าวอย่างนี้เหมือนกันหรือ

9For it is written in the Law of Moses, “You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain.” Is it for oxen that God is concerned? 9เพราะว่าในธรรมบัญญัติของโมเสสเขียนไว้ว่า อย่าเอาตะกร้าครอบปากวัวเมื่อมันกำลังนวดข้าวอยู่ พระเจ้าทรงเป็นห่วงวัวหรือ

10Does he not speak entirely for our sake? It was written for our sake, because the plowman should plow in hope and the thresher thresh in hope of sharing in the crop.

10พระองค์ไม่ได้ตรัสเพื่อประโยชน์ของพวกเราโดยเฉพาะดอกหรือ ข้อความนั้นเขียนไว้เพื่อประโยชน์ของเราทั้งหลาย แสดงว่าคนที่ไถนาควรไถด้วยความหวังใจ และคนที่นวดข้าวควรนวดด้วยความหวังใจว่า จะได้ประโยชน์

12If others share this rightful claim on you, do not we even more? Nevertheless, we have not made use of this right, but we endure anything rather than put an obstacle in the way of the gospel of Christ.

13Do you not know that those who are employed in the temple service get their food from the temple, and those who serve at the altar share in the sacrificial offerings?

13ท่านไม่รู้หรือว่าคนที่ปรนนิบัติในโบสถ์ก็กินอาหารของโบสถ์ และคนปรนนิบัติที่แท่นบูชาก็รับส่วนแบ่งจากเครื่องบูชานั้น

14In the same way, the Lord commanded that those who proclaim the gospel should get their living by the gospel. 14ทำนองเดียวกัน องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าได้ทรงบัญชาไว้ว่า คนที่ประกาศข่าวประเสริฐควรได้รับการเลี้ยงชีพด้วยข่าวประเสริฐนั้น

II Corinthians 2 โครินธ์11:3-77Or did I commit a sin in humbling myself so that you might be exalted, because I preached God's gospel to you free of charge?

9And when I was with you and was in need, I did not burden anyone, for the brothers who came from Macedonia supplied my need. So I refrained and will refrain from burdening you in any way.

Romans 16:3-5 3Greet Prisca and Aquila, my fellow workers in Christ Jesus, 3ขอฝากความคิดถึงมายังปริสคาและอาควิลลา ผู้ร่วมงานกับข้าพเจ้าในพระราชกิจของพระเยซูคริสต์

I Corinthians 16:19 The churches of Asia send you greetings. Aquila and Prisca, together with the church in their house, send you hearty greetings in the Lord.

The ministry in Corinth verses 4-18 เปาโลที่เมืองโครินธ์ข้อที่ 4-18

4And he reasoned in the synagogue every Sabbath, and tried to persuade Jews and Greeks. 4เปาโลได้สนทนาธรรมในธรรมศาลาทุกวันสะบาโต ได้ชักชวนทั้งพวกยิวและพวกกรีกให้เชื่อ

6And when they opposed and reviled him, he shook out his garments and said to them, “Your blood be on your own heads! I am innocent. From now on I will go to the Gentiles.”

7And he left there and went to the house of a man named Titius Justus, a worshiper of God. His house was next door to the synagogue. 7ท่านจึงออกจากที่นั่น แล้วเข้าไปในบ้านของชายคนหนึ่งชื่อทิทิอัสยุสทัส ซึ่งเป็นคนถือพระเจ้า บ้านของเขาอยู่ติดกับธรรมศาลา

8Crispus, the ruler of the synagogue, believed in the Lord, together with his entire household. And many of the Corinthians hearing Paul believed and were baptized.

8ฝ่ายคริสปัสนายธรรมศาลา กับทั้งครัวเรือนของท่านได้เชื่อถือพระเจ้า และชาวโครินธ์หลายคนเมื่อได้ฟังเปาโลแล้ว ก็ได้เชื่อถือและรับบัพติศมา

9And the Lord said to Paul one night in a vision, “Do not be afraid, but go on speaking and do not be silent, 9และองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าได้ตรัสกับเปาโลทางนิมิต ในคืนหนึ่งว่า “อย่ากลัวเลย แต่จงกล่าวต่อไป อย่านิ่งเสีย

10for I am with you, and no one will attack you to harm you, for I have many in this city who are my people.” 10เพราะว่าเราอยู่กับเจ้าและจะไม่มีผู้หนึ่งผู้ใดอาจต่อสู้ทำร้ายเจ้า ด้วยว่าคนของเราในนครนี้มีมาก”

11And he stayed a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them. 11เปาโลจึงยับยั้งอยู่กับเขา และสั่งสอนพระวจนะของพระเจ้าตลอดปีหนึ่งกับหกเดือน

12But when Gallio was proconsul of Achaia, the Jews made a united attack on Paul and brought him before the tribunal, 12แต่คราวเมื่อกัลลิโอเป็นผู้สำเร็จราชการแคว้นอาคายา พวกยิวได้ฮือกันขึ้นต่อสู้เปาโล และพาท่านไปศาล

13saying, “This man is persuading people to worship God contrary to the law.” 13ฟ้องว่า “คนนี้ชักชวนคนทั้งหลายให้นมัสการพระเจ้าตามทางที่ผิดกฎหมาย”

14But when Paul was about to open his mouth, Gallio said to the Jews, “If it were a matter of wrongdoing or vicious crime, O Jews, I would have reason to accept your complaint.

14เมื่อเปาโลจะอ้าปากพูด กัลลิโอก็กล่าวแก่พวกยิวว่า “ดูก่อนพวกยิว ถ้าเป็นเรื่องการอธรรมหรือเป็นเรื่องอาชญากรรม สมควรเราจะฟังท่านทั้งหลาย

15But since it is a matter of questions about words and names and your own law, see to it yourselves. I refuse to be a judge of these things.”

15แต่เมื่อเป็นการโต้แย้งกันถึงเรื่องถ้อยคำกับชื่อ และธรรมบัญญัติของพวกท่านแล้ว ท่านทั้งหลายจงวินิจฉัยกันเอาเองเถิด เราไม่อยากเป็นผู้พิพากษาตัดสินข้อความเหล่านั้น”

16And he drove them from the tribunal. 16ท่านจึงไล่พวกนั้นไปจากศาล
