TMCM tolerances (TMCM thickness 3.81 nominal) Closeout pocket 4.2mm -0.125 +0.125 -0 +0.2 Nominal adhesive thick. = 0.2mm -0.325 +0.125 Nominal stay clear = 0.2mm By drawing TMCM can stick out by 0.125mm
Changes: reduce by 0.1mm the nominal thickness of the adhesive layer and of the thickness of the flange of the fixation pin Recuperate the rest of the tolerance selecting the pins with nominal flange when there is a conflict (small pocket + thick TMCM)
Vertical screws to guarantee the heights matching Other problems Horizontal screws to push the TMCM against the closeout The operator stops to push the tool against the tray closeout at a fixed torque.The tool can stop against the bias circuit surface, leaving a not controlled adhesive thickness.
A dry mounting test with clearance checkout has to be performed This metrology was performed from top side only, checking for pad alignment. The stay clear of the connector could not be observed. A check of the connector stay clear looking from the bottom side will be added LAT_PS_01801 procedure changes
