  9. Freshly exposed shock pad sees the light for the first time in 18 years!

  10. Down comes the fencing

  11. Lunchtime on the 1st day…

  12. Ready to load away…

  13. The shock pad is rolled up for re-use

  14. Surface of the porous tarmac beneath the shock-pad.

  15. Spray D-markings went right through!

  16. Cleaning & taking up the shock-pad.

  17. Yes, it did rain all day Tues & Wed.

  18. Nearly all removed.

  19. Wednesday afternoon…

  20. This strip goes full width of the pitch.

  21. Fences coming down.

  22. First of 5 lorry-loads.

  23. 1 lorry load = 30 tonnes approx.
