WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNT FROM YOUR AUDIENCE FEEDBACK ? QUESTIONAIRE: NEGATIVE COMMENTS: (ABOUT VIDEO) POSITIVE COMMENTS: (ABOUT VIDEO) I liked the video because listening to the lyrics you see the video relates to them, for example, when the artists speaks about poverty you see it in the video. Unfortunately today you listen to the music and the video has no relevance to it, this does. Some of the clips u kept on repeating and reusing. Try finding different clips that convey the same meaning. I don’t think there are many music channels supporting new artists videos, so on that aspect it wouldn't do very well. It’s pretty straight forward and self-explanatory especially since it relates to the lyrics. I wouldn't watch the video again or recommend it but it was shot well. It would easily fit in with other Grime videos. What have I learnt? Most of the answers on the questionnaire where positive as people seemed to like the fact that the video makes sense as it relates to the lyrics. However its obvious that this type of music and the video only targets a very specific audience, meaning hiphop/RNB lovers wouldn't bother watching the video at all. I've also learnt that the audience aren't naive so they will pick up on mistakes or shortcuts that you have made ie, use of same clips. I would recommend this video to other grime lovers! Good clear shots and edited well which makes it easier to watch.
WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNT FROM YOUR AUDIENCE FEEDBACK ? QUESTIONAIRE: POSITIVE COMMENTS: (ABOUT ADVERTISMENT ) NEGATIVE COMMENTS: (ABOUT ADVERTISMENT) I like it because all aspects of it flow. Maybe make the title standout more and get rid of the red line. I think it fits its purpose, and would appeal to the targeted audience. Get rid of the guy on the CD cover but leave the background and title. The images of him aren't very good. I don’t think the font used is very professional. It should stand out more, and it doesn't really fit in with the style of the album. Not professional but made well. You can easily link all the advertisement pieces to the same artist. I think because of that it is a very good effort at recreating an advertisement package, What have I learnt? I've learnt that using different effects and making the images look like cartoons definitely matches the Grime conventions and that is what the audience expect from a grime artist. If I could change it I would definitely use more special effects for each advertisement piece. However synergy between the products works well as they all reinforce and strongly promote the artist making him more recognisable. Love the back cover, it looks very professional. Good use of effects.
WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNT FROM YOUR AUDIENCE FEEDBACK ? SURVEY MONKEY: POSITIVE COMMENTS: (ABOUT VIDEO) NEGATIVE COMMENTS: (ABOUT VIDEO) Love the writing in the video. Looks sick! The quality of the video doesn't look very good. The ending is really good. I think it adds a professional aspect to the video. Got a bit boring after a while. Need more colour and excitement, otherwise you will loose peoples attention. Its simple, well directed and cleanly shot. Because of this it was easy and interesting to watch. Keep up the good work! Too much use of text in the video. looks like you’ve over used it to fill up gaps you couldn’t find film for! What have I learnt? The comments here are equally balanced a s I received positive comments and criticism. The audience that enjoyed the video, seemed to like the use of text within the video as it makes it different from other videos that people usually watch as it adds another dimension to the narrative and performance piece. However I have realised that we may have included to much text within the video, which makes is less interesting as its very repetitive. Filming in the dark lessened the quality of the video, which someone noticed but I still think shooting it at night conforms to usual grime conventions which means it was the best thing to do.
WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNT FROM YOUR AUDIENCE FEEDBACK ? LIKES Comments: Koolvid LIKES: 10 Views (12/4/2012): 910 Comments: Awsomevideo ayesha. What have I learnt? Hardly any comments where posted on Facebook, or YouTube but instead there where likes’. Because its not a traditional rating scale there is no way to measure on what level they liked the video, for example 1 being low and 5 being high, to what extents did you like the video? However on YouTube, people can choose to like and dislike videos so it can be seen as positive that from the 910 views, no one disliked it to much. Looking back on it, I would have included a rating scale question within my questionnaire to understand to what extent people like or dislike what myself and my group have produced.
