VITP Goals • Develop infrastructure for the establishment of new IT businesses and growth of existing ones • Provide comfortable environment for commercialization of R&D results and integration of business, science and studies • Help academics and businesses to implement innovation ideas; • Attract foreign investment into Hi-Tech sector in Lithuania • Stimulate export of IT products and new technologies • Create new workplaces

VITP Success Factors (1) • Academia and business collaboration tradition in Visoriai district in Vilnius • Scientific potential: the Founders represent 450+ staff with scientific degrees and 3000+ students of computer sciences • Presence of R&D potential in Visoriai (Institute of Mathematics and Informatics, Institute of Biochemistry and Institute of Ecology are located in Visoriai) • Governmental sector support for the development of science technology park (Ministry of Economy and Ministry of Science and Education and local municipality are among founders)
