Worship • The Sunday Eucharist is a priority in the life of the parish. • Competent individuals are responsible for every aspect of liturgical celebrations. • Parishioners serve in many liturgical roles at liturgy, they are trained and effective. • Worship aids are contemporary. • Preaching is directly related to the scriptures and real life experience. • Sacraments are celebrated with attention to making them true expressions of parish life. • Liturgy of the Word with Children is celebrated. • Liturgical art and environment are marked by noble simplicity.

Leadership • The pastor/parish life director, staff and pastoral council share responsibility for visioning, planning, empowering, and evaluating. • The pastoral concerns of the parish are assessed, evaluated, and responded to. • Decisions are made after a process of discernment, study, and discussion. • Ongoing training of parish leaders is provided for and informed by diocesan, national and universal church. • Parish leaders delegate and empower others to implement parish activities. • The pastor/parish life director regularly evaluates parish personnel.
