ShootingGame Prof. HezyYeshurun Mr. Danny Feldman
The Game • Interactive 2 players game • Against another player or the computer • Full flexibility for the players – costumed gestures • Client – server architecture
The gestures recognition • The OpenCV library was used via the OpenCVDotNet wrapper • The player can calibrate how to implement each gesture • Basic machine learning procedures were implemented
The Game Flow • The player determines its settings (game, speed and level) • The server gets clients playing requests and matches couples of same game and same level • The client waits for the initiation signal from the server and then calibrates the gestures
The Game Flow – cont’d • The clients send a verification about the calibration ending • The server waits for both clients verifications and then sends a “start playing” cue • The BL unit is called to run the game
The working method & milestones 6 Deciding together about the project subject Creating the User Manual and the design documents Splitting the work into 4 parts Using C# with the visual studio along with SVN as our source control Using Skype for world wide communication
Challenges • The FILL method that was originally came with the OpenCv package was not good enough • Many web cameras and codecs did not meet requirements • Optimizing use and testing OpenCv component for our purposes
