  1. Events in Philadelphia Today- Exciting Things to Do It's beginning to look like spring is coming for the long haul. With a major museum reopening, Kensington's trademark street celebration, and hundreds of city parks where you can help in, plant, and clean up, this week and weekend are great to get involved. If you're not attending any of these events in Philadelphia today, take a break at one of these fantastic Philadelphia breweries or distilleries instead. Go out to dinner, order some of Philadelphia's best takeaway, and relax in your own home. More information on these and other topics can be found here. Magic Gardens Is Hosting a Garden Party You are cordially invited to Philadelphia's Magic Gardens Garden Party on Wednesday, May 11. BridgetSet Sound will be playing music from 5 to 8 p.m., there will be crafts, and the unique mosaic sculpture garden's "tile bingo" game will be open for play.
