Coverages Available / Markets’ Appetite for Risk • Are reinsurers interested in new exposures? • How are terms and conditions in professional liability changing? • Last soft market, EPLI and private company d&o represented a lot of new premium. Which products should we be looking out for now?
Products • Are there new products taking hold in the marketplace? • Are there any products that are seeing a comeback or increased interest in the current market? • What are specialty products? What makes them specialty?
Distribution • Does the wholesaler play a different role in a soft market than in a hard market? • Does surplus line business play a different role? • In a soft market, what business is considered specialty? • What is underwriters’ appetite for program business?
