Difference between MIS and CS • Computer Science creates information- enabling technologies (computers, etc.) • CS deals with technology for its own sake • CS is math-oriented • MIS concentrates on the use of computer and information technology to solve business problems • MIS is business and management oriented; however, a level of technical capability is required.
