Liaison • Q.12 &14 Liaison • for information • new version of G.8080 approved • includes more on multi-layering and now PCE • new version of G.7713 approved • includes more on restoration, SPC and SCN resilience • crankback not yet added (but no specific issue) • new appendix to G.7714.1 approved • provides scenarios for use of J0/Jx discovery messages • SG15 Liaison • for information and comment • shares workplan for OTNT work across SG15 groups

  4. OIF • Met in February 2006 in Nashville • Liaison to CCAMP • Thanking CCAMP for their work on revising RFC 3946 (sonet/sdh) • Expressing interest in further IETF ASON-related work on signaling and routing • A number of new activities underway

  5. OIF • Further work projects • E-NNI Routing 1.0 IA • identifies routing requirements (aligned with JDT results) • looks to future standard extensions (esp. CCAMP work) • informational appendix will contain formats used in testing • Interworking Guideline • Guideline document (informational) on interworking of current GMPLS and ASON (i.e., RFC 3473 and G.7713.2) signaling • based on existing implementation experiences • UNI 2.0 and E-NNI 2.0 IAs • work starting up – support for Ethernet, G.709, security, call/connection separation & sub-STS-1 rate services • close ties to Ethernet work in CCAMP, e.g., TSpec work
