  1. Tips to Keep your Electric Scooter Ride Smooth Introduction Ensuring a smooth ride on your electric scooter is a matter of safety, proper riding technique, and paying proper attention. We will talk about each of these aspects in this column in detail, giving you tips on making your riding experience safe and protected. 1. Safety Above All Before you even start your ebike, wear your safety gear. A helmet is the most crucial safety precaution it will quite literally save your life. Also, get a solid pair of riding gloves with palm sliders so that you don’t injure your wrist or cut and bruise your hands if you need to break your fall. 2. Check your Battery Scooty Your electric e-scooter's health, not just your own, is vital. Keep your battery charged, make sure your brakes and lights work and check your tire pressure. Safety is a two-way street. Take care of your scooter, and your scooter will take care of you. 3. Accelerate Slowly Now, let’s talk about actually riding your scooter. When accelerating, push the throttle gently and steadily. The goal here is to accelerate slowly and gradually build up speed. If you quickly push the throttle, you can lose control of your scooter and go somersaulting over the handlebars, injuring yourself.

  2. 4. Brake Safely When braking, slowly press the rear brake first, then the front brake. If you press both brakes at the same time, especially if you do it suddenly, the scooter will forcefully halt to a stop, throwing you forward onto the road. 5. Turn Smoothly The best way to steer is to slow down, switch your indicator on, and smoothly turn the scooter’s handlebars in the direction you will be steering in. Your body weight will shift when you turn, which means that you should avoid any sudden movements and high speeds when steering. Doing so can possibly throw you off the ev-scooter, leading to serious injury or worse. 6. Eyes Open and Forward Your attention has to be on the road, the traffic, and any obstructions on your route. Now is not the time to check your phone, or do anything else that can steal your focus. Conclusion The tips we have discussed above will benefit your riding experience tremendously and keep you safe and comfortable on your ebike. While other aspects of your scooter can affect your ride, the fundamentals of safety and proper riding etiquette will ensure a smooth and secure experience for you.
