E-geodata Austria … • Is a web based dissemination system of spatial information and spatial data • Combines the many different datasets provided by the BEV in one logical dissemination database • Contains automatic and event triggered updating of the dissemination database • Manages customers, users, roles and rights • Offers different dissemination channels for different customer groups (Shop, Expert Shop, WebGIS, Map and Feature Services) • Is the geo-information portal of the BEV Seminar “Cadastre on Internet” Lisbon, November 2007

Primary Objectives • Simplify the official procedures for realising one stop-services and for the new definition of the local authorities • Link directly the legally relevant database of real estate and the address register with the spatial data of the national cadaster and the topographic survey • Accelerate the access to spatial information for citizens, economy and administration by creating the 'BEV-Geo-portal’ Seminar “Cadastre on Internet” Lisbon, November 2007
Primary Objectives • Integration of suppliers and customers into the supply chain by providing standardised interfaces • i.e. supply "online functions“ • Persistent digital documentation of the maintenance and alteration processes to tighten the internal workflow • Connection to the ERP system of the Federal Government (SAP-R3) • to capture costs and services, to document the process and to reduce the duration of transactions Seminar “Cadastre on Internet” Lisbon, November 2007
Key Outcomes • Increases the availability of reference spatial data • Provides new user-friendly opportunities for information requests and highly improved legal and information security due to synchronised query of the Land Register, the Address Register, and the Cadaster • Allows broader use of BEV’s Geoinformation data • Reduces the necessity of redundant data keeping and the expenses of data processing for customers Seminar “Cadastre on Internet” Lisbon, November 2007
