Good Posters… • Follow the specific project requirements • Focus on one main idea • Show your thought process or methods • Are self-explanatory • Are simple and clear
Step 1:Make a draft Tape together white paper sheets to make a larger paper and cut it exactly as a poster board.
Step 2: Content • Make a list of the ideas that you want to communicate. • KEEP IT SHORT
Step 3: Create a title • Have to be catchy • Play with words: • World Wide Web Wonders • ???
Step 4: Sketch • Use a pencil and tape. • Use pieces of paper of the same size as your photos or drawings.
Step 5: • Think who is reading your poster. • Use vocabulary related to the project. • Leave white space on the poster. • Make sure the poster is balanced • Experiment with various colors, shapes, textures, and dimensions
To keep in mind… • Be as neat as you can • Cut evenly, apply adhesive carefully • Blend colors when using crayons or colored pencils • In your report, tell your sources for photos and printed material
