  2. S.H.A.P.E. Assessments • Five Assessments Spiritual gifts (homework from SHAPE part 1), Heart (Passion), Abilities, Personality, and Experiences • Myers Briggs? Aptitude Test or Personal Assessment • Don’t over think your answers, go with gut reaction

  3. S.H.A.P.E. Goals for Today • Understand & Complete 4 assessments (H.A.P.E.) Heart - Passion, Abilities, Personality, and Experiences • Summarize results and transfer to “Personal Profile Sheet”

  4. S.H.A.P.E. Assessment #2Heart (Passion) • Those few areas of strong personal desire/passion where you can focus energies and efforts in order to have an impact • This assessment helps you identify the things you are passionate about and highly motivated to accomplish • Turn to page 23

  5. S.H.A.P.E. Assessment #3Abilities • Defined as those personal assets that express what you are able to do well in a natural sense. • Includes skills & talents • National studies have proven that the average person possesses from five hundred to seven hundred skills! • Turn to page 29

  8. Time to Summarize! • Turn to last page of documents to view Personal Ministry Profile (bluecolor) • Summary of Shape Assessment Results • Might be helpful to remove from binder

Transfer Assessment Results (shaded areas) on paperwork to BluePersonal Ministry Profile • Go to page 13 (or use online tool results) and transfer your Spiritual Gifts shaded portion onto your blue Personal Ministry Profile • Go to pages 24-27 and transfer Heart shaded sections • Go to page 29 and transfer Abilities shaded section • Go to page 31 and transfer Personality shaded section • Go to page 34 and transfer Experiences shaded section

  10. S.H.A.P.E. Next Steps • Turn in your Personal Profile Sheet today (if completed) today! If not, turn into the Church Office WITHIN ONE WEEK • Keep assessments for your personal records • You will be contacted to arrange an appointment with a SHAPE Advisor to go over results. Write in the upper right corner of your Personal Profile Sheet the best time to meet 9:30 10:30 Other • Attend a 15-20 minute meeting with a Shape Advisor. Meet in the Fellowship Hall. Look for the SHAPE sign, then discuss results at local coffee shop • Enjoy YOUR ministry at St. Matthew Church!!
