  2. Look for uniform focus from the center out to the edges. In the best images, the focus should be crisp all the way to the corners.

  3. Look for smooth gray scale steps. In the best images, you should see the differences even in the black and white extreme values.

  4. Look for accurate colors. In the best images, they should look rich and natural, and match the colors displayed on your computer monitor.
