  2. Tue., Today in the college and Career Center Middlebury College at 10:45 and the Marines will be here during lunch. Come down if you are interested.

  3. International Club mtg. is Tues., Sept. 17. We meet every 1st & 3rd Tues. of MTh. in the library, usually after school. Elections coming. What'll you run for?!

  4. "Do you need some help in your math or science class? The Math and Science Tutoring Club has your back. For FREE peer tutoring, come to Ms. Hecht's room, E212, every Wednesday right after school. See you there!"

  5. The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising will be here tomorrow Wed., Sept. 18 @ 9 am. Come if you are interested!

  6. Thurs. , Sept.,19- The University of Chicago will have one of our own Alumni here to speak with you at 9:30. Come down if you are interested.

  7. There will be a meeting this Thurs., Sept. 19 for ALL students interested in joining the Asian American Society.  Mr. Olney’s rm. E 207 4th & Ms. Hecht’s rm. E 212 5th lunch. Please come.  You don’t have to be Asian to join the club!!

  8. The University of Alabama will be in the College and Career Center Fri., Sept. 20 @ 1 pm. Come down if you are interested.

  9. Interested in a foreign exchange?? Scottsdale Sister Cities is sponsoring (& helping fund) a student exchange during Fall Break to our Sister City, Alamos Mexico! Get appl. from Mrs. Harris (library) & find out about our International Club.

  10. There will be an important Spanish Honor Society mtg. in Señora Atkinson’s rm A324  on Thurs., Sept.19 at 2:30. All SPH members are expected to attend.

  11. YOU can help the life skills classes with a new recycling project. Life Skills students are partnering with Terracycle to recycle certain items. Right now we are collecting chip & snack bags in the cafeteria. Thanks for your help!

  12. What are YOU reading??**This wk. show your public library card to Mrs. Harris your teacher librarian, or the volunteer at library circulation desk, & get a little treat!! :-)Bring in your Library Card! (They are free to get!)

  13. SENIORS - MUST schedule a sitting with Cameo Studios before Tues., Oct. 1.

  17. ALL Firebird WordDVD & speaker requests MUST be approved by assistant principal Ms. Katie O'Boyle at least 1 day before you want it to run. Attach movie length to DVD!
