Your teams medic says he can stabilize the patient, but that your team member must make it to a hospital within the next 4 hours. The closest hospital is in PekanBaru. What will you do? You have arrived in Solok to find the village in a state of complete disarray. There is a general sense of panic and the locals are not behaving rationally. Some of the locals have set up a road block demanding food from any vehicle that passes by. Soon you are surrounded by locals demanding food and any other assistance items. They have machetes and threaten to take your team hostage if you do not provide them with all of your food and equipment. They have threatened to kill you if you try to radio for help.
