  1. Information Regarding Different Types Of Rapid Prototyping Prototypes play a significant role in every field, be it in development, research, or industries. The prototype helps to test the products before going for the productions and assists in pinpointing the possible difficulties that can occur due to fault in the designs. In earlier days, prototyping designing was a very costly process and time taking also. But with the invention of CNC (Computer Numerically Controlled) machines, the speed of the prototype development has increased. With the help of rapid prototyping, the time required for the designs has even decreased from a few days to hours. FDM operates on the additive principles which extrude the materials into layers. Wax or plastic is liquified in the head and is then extruded through the nozzle. The muzzle then moves over the trail designed by the CAD machine to produce a part. In this way, layer by layer is dropped to build the prototype.
