WORKPLACE ANALYTICS & WORKPLACE PERFORMANCE: A FAST START SOLUTION FACILITY QUEST
02 | facility quest ABOUT THE COMPANY In 2010, founder Lowell Schneider built a SAAS solution based on the practices of architect John Duvivier to facilitate observer-based utilization surveys. This solution evolved into Facility Quest in 2011. John Duvivier was then a Principal at the internationally-renown architecture firm Gensler, which has since completed hundreds of utilization projects worldwide. While serving a growing list of evidence- driven clients, Facility Quest has continued to partner with Gensler, helping it’s clients understand the utilization of their facilities. We now offer a broad range of solutions to facilities managers and design professionals. SEE SPACE THROUGH THEIR EYES This unique survey leverages the power and ease of texts and selfies. Participants answer questions with a photo and a note to share their experience of place. The result, a searchable collection of visual answers, illustrates for decision makers what the occupants see and feel about their physical environment. It tells the subjective story that complements objective data (e.g. from utilization studies), and invites any group of stakeholders into the change process.

FACILITY QUEST BUILD TRUST AND COMMUNICATION WITH EVIDENCE-BASED DESIGN A data-gathering study leads to greater client trust, deeper design conversations and improved employee buy-in to workplace changes. Evidence-based design builds a business case for larger workplace design projects. "IS THE UTILIZATION OF CONFERENCE ROOMS REALLY AS HIGH AS THEY SAY?" Perception vs. reality. Before design, even before programming, take a quantitative look at space. See how raw data turns into useful information and insights. Gather quantitative space and activity data to support qualitative data gathered during interviews, focus groups or surveys.
