What is scabies?? • Scabies are microscopic mites that dig into your skin. They then multiply, causing red, irritated patches on the skin.
What type of infection? Scabies is neither bacterial or viral. It is caused by a parasitic mite.
How is it spread? • Scabies is spread by prolonged skin to skin contact, sexual contact, or simply by sharing bedding, clothing, and towels. It is highly contagious.
What are the symptoms for men? • Sores • Bumps • Burning or pain when urinating • Itching that worsens at night • Pimple- like irritation • Blisters • Discharges
