Tips for Travel Arrangement • Prepare a detailed itinerary which must include as much information as possible, say, telephone numbers of hotels, appointments, meetings, places, etc. • Verify the weather conditions in the area in which the boss is travelling. • Confirm all the bookings of hotels, tickets, etc. • Remain a constant remainder to the boss of the information on the ticket departure time, airport, platform, etc. • If the boss is travelling for business, the secretary should collect all the documents required both personal and business, passports, visa vaccination certificates, and the firm’s brochure, etc., and hand them to the boss. • Sometimes the secretary may also prepare some foreign currency and traveler’ s checks if the boss is travelling abroad.
