Terms and Requirements The length of a term is for years and since the 22nd amendment the President is limited to two terms and they do not have to be consecutive The Presidents must be a natural born citizen of the U.S, be at least 35yrs old, and live in the U.S for 14yrs. I believe that the president must also need to have a high school diploma and have past experience in government such as being a mayor,govenor,or senator. So he can handle the work and the stress that accompanies the job. But I do not believe he should have to be a natural born citizen because with the background checks now it is very slim that he is a terrorist. Except I think he should have citizen ship for 20yrs before running in office Franklin Delano Roosevelt served the longest term of any president dying of a heart attack in office and was president for 4,422 days

Salary The presidents salary is set by congress at the beginning of a presidents term and is usually based on there performance but too start out with he gets paid 400,000$ and once his two terms are over he will receive 191,300$ annually for the rest of his life He also receives 50,000$ tax free and money for travel expenses

Benefits Besides the salary the president gets to eat whatever he wants and it is fresh ingredients and are prepared by a professional chef Also he is protected by the secret service every second of the day and is protected for ten years after his terms Plus he gets to fly on air force one and has a fleet of helicopters,planes,and cars at his disposal He may also go to Camp David to relax and have meetings

5. Roles With his high salary and many benefits there is also a lot of work. He has 7 roles but I will list the three most important One is Chief of State and his job is to inspire the American people and this is important because without people to lead his job becomes useless. For this role he awards medals to soliders,astronaut,and congratulates winners of college scholarships. As Commander-In-Chief he leads every branch of our armed forces. He decides where to send troops,ships,and decides what weapons we use . This includes the dropping of bombs which he can order without the permission of Congress Then as Chief Executive he is the boss of millions of workers in the executive branch. He appoints the heads of Government Agencies including the CIA and the FBI. This role also includes carrying out laws and policies and holding cabinet meetings

Bureaucracy The FBI’s job is to protect and defend the U.S against terrorists and foreign Intelligence threats., to uphold and enforce the criminal laws of the United States, and to provide leadership and criminal justice services to federal, state, municipal, and international agencies and partners and they do this faithfully to the constitution The CIA or central Intelligence Agencies job is to is responsible for providing intelligence on a wide range of national security issues to senior US policymakers. The Director of the Central Intelligence Agency is nominated by the President and confirmed by the Senate. The Director manages the operations, personnel and budget of the Central Intelligence Agency and acts as the National Human Source Intelligence Manager.
