Peak to Average Power Ratio inWLAN-OFDM System National Conference on Telecommunication Technology Proceedings, Shah Alam,Malaysia 2003 IEEE
Abstract • OFDM can reduce the ISI and delay spread. • Reduce the bandwidth and increase the spectral efficiency. • But PA of OFDM is 2~4 times larger than single carrier system. • Codeword and code length effect on PAPR. • PAPR(Peak to Average Power Ratio)
Multicarrier system • Multiple subcarriers cause PAPR.
Conclusion& final proposal • Different combination bit provide different PAPR. • Research in power-saving in WLAN. • Final project to simulate the power-saving in WLAN using NS2.
