  2. PC LAN settings • The PC must be in the same subnet as the IP Office. • The PC must have a static IP address if recovering the unit from no or corrupt operational software on the unit (i.e. ip500.bin).

  3. Enable BootP and TFTP Servers • In Manager the BootP and TFTP Servers have to be selected.

  4. Utilization of the DTE Port for Maintenance Purposes BOOTP and network address are important settings in the Manager on the PC used for maintenance tasks.

  11. IP500v2 Control Unit The RESET button in the Control Unit IP500v2 has the same functions as in the IP 500 on the previous slide IP500v2 control units have an AUX button. This button can be used as follows.: If pressed during a restart of the control unit, the control unit skip booting from the /primary folder on the System SD card. If pressed for between 5 and 10 seconds when a system is running, the control unit will shutdown for 10 minutes.
